Convention on International Trade — issued by MAAIF Uganda. Required for all live animal exports.
Pre-export health certificate
Issued by government-authorised vet within 72 hrs of departure. State-stamped and apostilled.
Rabies titre test (FAVN)
Required for EU, Middle East, and select African markets. Blood drawn ≥ 30 days before travel.
IATA-compliant crate
Live Animal Regulations crate provided. Dog acclimatised 2 weeks before travel.
Microchip certificate (ISO 11784)
Chip number matches pedigree + health cert. Readable by standard ISO 11785 scanner.
Full pedigree (FCI-aligned)
3-generation pedigree issued by Uganda Kennel Club. PDF + physical copy included.
Export process
How it works, step by step
Submit export enquiry
Fill in the KYC form below — destination country, intended use, buyer details, and import permit number if available.
Match & reserve
We confirm a suitable dog within 24 hrs. A 20% refundable deposit holds the dog for 14 days while paperwork is prepared.
Documentation preparation
MAAIF, CITES, vet cert, titre test, microchip cert — 2–4 weeks depending on destination. We manage all applications.
Pre-export quarantine (if required)
Some markets require 7–21 day supervised quarantine. Nimukama provides an on-farm quarantine pen.
Airfreight booking
IATA Live Animal crate provided. Preferred routes via Entebbe — Dubai — destination. We coordinate with Lufthansa Cargo, Emirates SkyCargo, Kenya Airways.
Handover & aftercare
30-day email support for handler transition. Remote training consultation available. WhatsApp access to Nimukama trainers for 90 days.
